Blaze Of Light

Candace Swenson is having a major crisis in her life. She caught her fiance in a very compromising position with her best friend. She's confused, hurt...furious! She lets the cad know, in no uncertain terms, what she thinks of his 'but-honey-I-really-love-you I-just-needed-a-release' explanation. Heading for a new life in Las Vegas - perfect end to a perfect day - her car breaks down and she's forced to hit the road on foot.
Randolph Roarkeson - Dolph to his friends - is pleased with what he sees. The girl is beautiful, her silver blonde hair and perfectly formed body a prize the gods would envy. She will surely give him many fine sons!
Dolph has come to Earth to find a wife as his father did before him. At 6-foot-5, with his long blonde hair, close-cropped beard and square-jawed good looks, he is most desireable as a husband. More importantly, he is the commander of 6 Viking ships, the sign of a great warrior.
Using superior technology - stolen, of course! - Dolph takes the woman to his flagship, alternately amused and inflamed as Candy's Scottish temper flares and she tells him what she thinks of his archaic, chauvinistic way of life. Kidnapping, rape, forced marriage - all perfectly acceptable to Vikings - are so unacceptable to her.
From this rocky start, love blooms. Candy - or Star, as Dolph calls her - comes to understand this fierce man with whom she has unwillingly fallen in love. And Dolph recognizes in Star a woman who can do battle with both his will and his heart, and very likely claim victories in both.
